Revd Benjamin Wontrop

Minister

Our Minister Benjamin is originally from the United States. In 2016, following his theological study, he took up a call as minster in Bury St Edmunds Presbyterian Church, Suffolk. In the spring of 2019 he was called to Newcastle as a minister of All Saints. Following the departure of our church planting minister,  Benjamin was confirmed  as our minister.  Benjamin is married to Anna. They have four children, Joy, Ezra, Elizabeth and Daniel.

Mr Jonathan
Winch

Ruling Elder

Jonathan Winch is a founding member of All Saints, having previously served as elder in Durham Presbyterian Church.  Jonathan and Julie have four adult children and six grandchildren - and counting!  An educationalist by vocation, Jonathan also enjoys reading, music and fell walking.

Dr Chris
Richards

Ruling Elder

A ruling elder since 2018, Chris works as a general paediatrician at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. He also leads two local Christian charities, which provide educational resources and practical care for women in need. He is married to Alison and they have seven children under 14 years, which keeps both of them very busy and reliant on God in prayer!

Tony Drummond

Deacon

A retired police officer, Tony now works for the NHS. His decades of experience in home renovation come in handy with the many practical challenges that come with the All Saints building. Married to Vera, Tony has two daughters and four grandchildren.

Sam Webster

Deacon

Sam is married to Lois and they have four children. The family moved from Cambridge to the North East in 2008. When he is not working as a solicitor, Sam loves the outdoors, particularly fell walking in the Lakes with the family, reading biographies, and indulging his passion for church music.

Rachel Kay

Church Administrator

Rachel, originally from the north west, became a Christian in her early 20’s. In 2015 she studied Biblical Theology with European Mission Fellowship and stayed on working for EMF until the closure of The School of Theology in 2018. Rachel then went to Scotland and worked with The Banner of Truth as the PA to The General Manager until she moved to the north east after marring Rob in late 2024. Outside of work Rachel enjoys looking after her chickens and being in the kitchen.
